Foothills Service League’s Taste of Loveland

TasteFlag_001The Foothills Service League’s Taste of Loveland, wine and food experience features nearly 40 fine wines, 30 area restaurants and a number of local breweries for a memorable evening of amazing wine and extraordinary food. A silent auction rounds out the evening giving guests an additional opportunity to support their mission of “More Than Giving.”

This year’s event will be held at The Rocky Mountain Center for Innovation and Technology. (Former HP/Agilent Complex @ Taft Ave. and 14th Street.) on April 24, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

General Admission and Reserved Seating tickets are available. Please remember to print your receipt and present it at the Will Call desk on the night of the event.

Mental Health First Aid

Touchstone Health Partners recognizes the need for people to take care of their mental health and we want to bring more resources to our community. We are helping to pioneer Mental Health First Aid to Northern Colorado to encourage public understanding of the sign and symptoms associated with behavioral health issues. Through this national certified our certification course, you’ll become a mental health first aider. Get more details at our Mental Health First Aid page.

Save_the_DateSERVE 6.8 seeks to help the people of Northern Colorado by creating significant and lasting change.

On Tuesday, May 6th, join SERVE 6.8 in celebrating the fifth anniversary of the Murphy Center for Hope.

Murphy Center for Hope offers a nationally-recognized holistic approach to help homeless and  near-homeless families and individuals become stable, self-sufficient, and maintain permanent housing.

Mental Health Information Forum

The second of this quarterly, 8-part Mental Health Information Series will help shine light on the topic of mental health in our community. This event, entitled “The State of Mental Health in Northern Colorado: Major Issues and Community Resources,” is designed for everyone with a stake in mental health in our community, from patients, family members, mental health care providers to the general public.

Join the conversation on June 10th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Harmony Library, 4616 Shields St., Fort Collins. Beverages and dessert will be provided.

COPREVENT Webinar Series

Improving the Mental and Emotional Well-Being of Communities through the National Prevention Strategy

The Health Resources and Service Administration will host a series of webinars on the National Prevention Strategy as it relates to community-level mental health. Registration is open to the public and will be available approximately one month before the date of each webinar. All webinars will take place from 2-3:30 p.m. Mountain Time.
